MathPACK Solver App Reviews

Not at all as advertised. Very upset I wasted the money and am being forced to give it a star.

Today I discovered that MathPACK cannot do basic arithmetic. Evidently, the program has difficulty raising negative numbers to odd powers (e.g., (-2)^3 evaluates to +8). This program is not ready for prime-time.

Currently this app is unable to load and execute simple script files as promised in the description . If this app could actual run the m. Files I would give this 5 stars.

Keeps freezing and crashing. I want my money back!

Love it! Not sure what problems the other reviewer had, but it works fine for me. Just think of it as MATLAB "lite", without extra toolboxes. And much better than the actual MATLAB for iPad or iPhone, which constantly needs to be connected to a server. Useless if you are ever outside network range. I use this program to make my life simpler when testing out different Gauges, taking care of the tedious matrix math bits.

Does anybody know how to access the physical or mathematical constants from the scripting environment? The app does not have a feedback button, I have some questions and need answers. Th input keyboard could be improved, kind of like QED solver.

Great app, incredible value for the money. I am taking a college course in MATLAB, I downloaded this to see if it would allow me to practice on my iPhone but be close enough to MATLAB that what I do on the app would be applicable to lessons I am assigned on desktop MATLAB. I found it is VERY close, there are some differences but all of the vector operations I am performing now are identical, almost all of the built in functions in the first few weeks of my class are included as well. The convenience of having it on my phone, available to practice anytime is helpful. The Lite version works well too, just has limits to the size matrix you can build.
